Councillor Donald McGregor and the Trustees of 2016
The picture consists of the committee as at 2016. We celebrated Donald MacGregor’s retirement from the committee and allowed him the pleasure of switching on our new central heating system which he helped get funding for us from Fife Council. We had a small afternoon tea laid on for this special occasion.
From left to right back row – George Thomson, Norma Anderson, Liz Muir and Jim Taylor, front row left to right Christine MacCallum, Donald MacGregor, Jannette Boyd and Margaret Wardlaw. Donald worked hard alongside the committee and helped bring the hall up to the 21st Century. Sadly, he did not get long after he retired, he passed away early last year.
We have a dedicated board of trustees & committee members who volunteer their time and expertise to provide activities and facilities for the Pittenweem New Town Hall.
We are always on the lookout for new members that would like to get involved.
If you are aged 16 years or over, you can become a trustee and help with the day-to-day running of the hall.
You can work as many or as few hours as you like but you do not get paid for your time being a trustee. However, you would be able to vote for changes and policies that may arise.
Or you can be a committee member which allows you to attend our monthly meetings and take part in discussions. But you cannot vote on any changes or policies within the organisation.
