Almost every community in the East Neuk has had a charrette, community action plan or other community consultation in the last few years – except Pittenweem.
These events enable residents of all ages to come together, analyse what works in a place and what doesn’t, examine the needs and wishes of the community for future development (eg. transport, green spaces, community facilities etc) and put together a plan for future action. This analysis and plan can then form the basis for future projects, and crucially funding applications.
The purpose of Tuesday night’s meeting is to explain the process and how Fife Council can help to get a community consultation going in Pittenweem.
Please zoom in on Tuesday evening if you can.
